Worship this Sunday at Littlestown Chapel

February 26, 2012 -- "The Apostles' Creed: An Ancient Faith that Matters Today" is the theme of our current message series. Join us as we explore how this ancient statement of what the followers of Christ believe is highly relevant for our times. This Sunday's message is entitled, "Trusting a God Who is the Best Father."

What to Expect When You Worship at the Chapel

The 9:30 AM service features a musical blend of traditional hymns and up-tempo contemporary worship songs lead by our band of keyboards, guitars, and drums.

Sunday School classes for all ages are offered at at 11:00 AM.

Most people attend the Chapel wearing casual clothing.  Ladies come with slacks, skirts or dresses, while on the men you'll find khakis and an occassional suit and tie.  Blue jeans are common for men and women.  Wear what you feel comfortable wearing.

As part of our act of worship, we express our love for God by giving of our finances during the offering portion of the service. Guests are not expected to give when the offering plate is passed, but those who consider the Chapel their church home are encouraged to give as they are able to.

We offer nursery care for infants and toddlers, and junior church for 4 year-olds through 4th grade during both Sunday morning worship services.  All of our children's ministries are staffed by responsible adults who have had the necessary background checks and clearances for approval to work with children.

Sunday School for all ages

During the 11:00 AM hour, grade- and age-appropriate Sunday School classes are offered for children from toddlers through high school.  Caring and competent adult instructors explain the teachings of God's Word in a way that is meaningful to each age group utilizing relevant learning activities. Adult Sunday School classes meeting during Winter 2012 offer the following electives: "James" (a study by Beth Moore for the women's class), "James" (a study by John MacArthur for the men's class), and a mixed class that is studying "Christology: Who is Jesus and What Has He Done?".  Class formats include video presentations, lectures, and discussions.
